Pages: 7

Summary:

A technique is described whereby the development of photographic film can be completely stopped to allow in-process inspection of the partially developed film. Further development is readily accomplished, if desired. Based on the use of simply constituted chemical buffer solutions, the method has thus far been applied primarily to orthochromatic litho films to control development following either line exposure or halftone exposure.
