A Method for Testing Resolving Power of Process Lenses.

A method is described which employs equipment commonly available or easily made in the average graphic arts establishment whereby the resolution characteristics of a lens can be evaluated with greater precision and throughout a greater range of conditions than can be done by more conventional methods. The method involves the use of a systematic set of converging lines constructed to stated specifications and interpreted in conjunction with a simple equation.
