A New Test Image for Electronic Color Scanning.

This report describes a new test image for determining gray balance requirements in a set of color separation negatives or positives. When printed under shop conditions, it takes into consideration the variables of inks, paper and press. Among the advantages of this test target are a relatively small size and the tints that match the screen rulings and shapes of dots in laser scanner images.
