A Study of Arc Lamp Performance.

Details:

Year: 1957
Pages: 8

Summary:

In this study the changes in intensity, color, voltage and current with time were observed. A special device was constructed so that these changes could be observed simultaneously and at relatively short intervals. The data were collected by photographing the dials of an exposure meter, a voltmeter, an ammeter, and an interval timer. Visual red, green, blue, and ultraviolet filters were placed in front of the light-meter. The photometric information was converted to watts/cm2/10mu units. The illustrations show the variation of lamps with time as well as differences among lamps.
