Summary:

Experimental use of electronic color correction for several years has shown that certain high speed wet printing conditions were not being considered sufficiently to make the best color reproduction with the automatic correction method. Modification of the computed ink value now provides corrected photographic plates of a form which is easily integrated into a standardized processing procedure, including all steps to the final proof. Computation for the black printer has been modified and computer-setup conditions have been investigated.
