Color Correction and the Black Printer.

The greatest difficulty in photographic color correction at the present time is the black plate. In an ideal black plate all the pure colors would photograph as white, and a result very close to this can be achieved by the use of three masks, or by a new method involving a high-intensity flash lamp exposure.
