Critical Use of the Tack-O-Scope For the Manufacture of Printing Ink and Its Components.

This paper will demonstrate that traces from a chart recorder, which is properly interfaced with a precision Tackometer, produce graphic data which are most valuable to evaluate and better understand properties of printing inks and components. This process can be successfully applied to the ink and ink components manufacture, precision formula generation, quality control and if necessary, trouble-shooting.
