Effect of Moisture on Some Paper Properties.

Newsprint type papers are very sensitive to changes in relative humidity and while they take several hours to come to equilibrium with a new ambient condition, 50 percent of the moisture change takes place in an interval of seconds. This characteristic becomes very important when the effect of moisture content on physical properties is considered.
