Summary:
Due to the formation of electrochemical double layers caused by physico- chemical interfacial processes at the diverse solid offset materials, electrostatic charging or discharging phenomena appear on the boundary between the liquid and the solid phase. The purpose of this study was to introduce an electrokinetic fingerprint technique to check the interaction between the liquid and the solid offset materials. For this aim stationary and non-stationary data obtained from streaming potential measurements were used to elucidate the effect of more or less polar surfaces on the electrostatic properties of the interface between the liquid and the solid offset phase.
