Summary:
At the Columbus, Ohio meeting of TAGA in 1951 the writer presented a paper A Curriculum for the Photomechanical Engineer. The paper evoked an interest among a number of institutions of higher learning which resulted in discussions to determine to what extent the proposed ideas could be incorporated in their engineering curricula. The present paper is a report on these discussions. The reaction on the part of educators was both varied and illuminating. Included also is a resume of the education for printers at the college level in the intervening years.
