New Developments in the Graphic Arts.

Some of the recent advances in graphic arts technology are reviewed, including inline finishing equipment, narrow width web offset presses, new sheetfed presses, UV inks and new light sources, inks and equipment for reduction of air pollution from web presses, computer ink matching system, light sources for plate exposure, projection platemaking systems, films, diffusion transfer litho plates, advances in stripping procedures, the electronic newsroom and the use of OCR and VDTs interface equipment rotary die-cutting, and the use of lasers in the graphic arts.
