New Instrumentation for Plate and Blanket Packing.

A packing gauge, developed by the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation and the Baldwin-Gegenheimer Corp., for quickly and accurately measuring plate and blanket heights on offset presses is described. It enables improperly packed plate and blanket cylinders to be eliminated, thereby maintaining print quality.
