Summary:

Molecular electronic blocks provide complete electronic circuits for computers and for tuning and amplifier circuits in radio devices. For the photographic processes used in fabricating these blocks, high resolution negatives and positives are required. Photo resists which will withstand strongly oxidizing fluoride etches are essential. Steps to be carried out in wafer processing are described. Molecular blocks are being made in smaller and smaller sizes but are still massive compared to the neurons in the brains of animals. Devices for computers in the future may approach neuron size. A challenging future for molecular electronic blocks seems assured.
