Spectrophotometry and OCR Ink Formulation.

There are many important similarities between the current OCR readers and a human observer. Therefore, spectrophotometric methods that have been developed to relate sample reflectance to visual response, can also be used as aids to formulate and test OCR inks. These methods are described along with a discussion of some of the problems and difficulties.
