Standardization in Graphic Arts Photography.

An introductory outline is given of the obstacles presented by the differing development requirements of the negatives to the full utilization of automatic processing. Principles of Agfa-Gevaert's Gevarex system for automating exposure and development are then discussed, with mention of such components as the exposure computer, the film and screen employed, the lamphouse and the camera adapter.
