Statistical Techniques for Quality Control in the Graphic Arts.

From a process involved in the manufacture of HTK photopolymers, a sample of 50 measurements of Brookfield viscosities measured in centipoise was obtained. The data produced were used to demonstrate how simple statistical techniques can be used to give insight into a process and allow predictions of future trends if the process remains stable. Statistical information obtained can be used in most production operations in the graphic arts industries.
