Lithoplate Photopolymer Wear Mechanisms

The wear performance of a lithographic plate is dictated by both the properties of the polymer composite and the success of the lithographer in maintaining conditions which lead to optimum performance. A lithographic system is described in terms of abrasion and wear parameters with special emphasis on the contribution of the solid-state properties of these materials.
