The Precision Imaging of Offset Plates

After pointing out the prevalence of unsuitably illuminated plate departments, the matters of precision plate exposure scales and precision plate exposures are dealt with, in relation to positive working (surface) plates. A new means of monitoring and controlling the chemical activity of the plate developers, the Howson-Algraphy Posidev Monitor, is introduced.
