An Engineered Assessment of Originals for Graphic Reproduction

The subjective assessment of originals for reproduction is examined. The need to relate this assessment to a definitive brief for production is discussed. A method is described which achieves an engineered assessment of originals thus enabling effective communication with prepress facilities.
