The Long and Short of the Printing Inks or Is Rheology Really Necessary?

Rheological parameters are listed and their nature and involvement in the printing process discussed. Difficulties in obtaining useful rheological data are explained and some suggestions are offered for making meaningful rheological measurements using currently available practical instruments.
