SkillsUSA is a national membership association serving college, high school and middle school students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations. It’s a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to develop a skilled workforce.
SGIA serves as the printing industry representative and coordinates the Screen Printing Technology and Graphic Imaging-Sublimation competitions. The committees that organize the competition develop plans to test the most relevant industry practices, where educators and students can employ technology and practices to demonstrate their abilities in a chosen field.
More than 40 students competed in the two competitions coordinated by SGIA, and a group of winners was chosen from the outstanding group of competitors. The winners include:
