FASTENation, Inc. Receives National Certification By the Women's Business Enterprise National Council

Clifton, New Jersey - FASTENation, Inc., a premier manufacturer, converter and global distributor of fasteners, received national certification as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and certification as a women-owned small business (WOSB).   "We are extremely proud to serve as a nationally certified women-owned business and to be a part of an organization committed to supporting diversity in the marketplace.  As we continue to grow our business, we look forward to developing new partnerships and exploring new opportunities presented to us through the WBENC network," said Jayne Petak, President of FASTENation, Inc.  Meredith Prentice, CSR Manager of FASTENation, said, "It's inspiring to be a part of a women-owned organization and to play a role in growing the company while working alongside other driven and talented women." WBENC's national standard of certification is a meticulous process that includes an in-depth review of the business and site inspection to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
