OSHA?s Updated Rulemaking Schedule

In its recently released updated rulemaking schedule, OSHA indicates that the final rule on walking, working surfaces and personal fall protection systems will be released this fall.  Also to be released this fall is a final recordkeeping rulemaking that will enable inspectors to issue citations for recordkeeping violations that initially occurred as long as five years prior.  Neither rule has undergone the required review by the Office of Management and Budget.
