Nov 7, 2016
The Hirsch Solution Studio in Huntersville, N.C. recently expanded, and the company hosted an open house in October to give visitors an opportunity to see new equipment and technology, innovative decorating techniques, and have an opportunity to talk to industry experts and network with peers.
The space was increased by 200%. “The expanded showroom has allowed us to add more equipment from our product lines than we were previously able to show,” says Larry Duffin, Studio director.
Additional equipment now on display includes the Kornit Storm Hexa digital direct-to-garment printer, the MHM iQ-Oval modular automatic screen printing machine, the Synchroprint 5000 carousel printer, and the Kornit Paradigm II that is attached to the MHM S-Type Xtreme press. The Adelco Duplex dryer also is now on display.
Racks and displays of cutting-edge samples donated by customers as well as shirts created by Hirsch’s R&D team were on view throughout the Studio giving visitors a chance to see the cutting-edge looks and techniques possible with the equipment.
Some of the newer embroidery machine models include the Tajima TMARK Type 2 embroidery machine and the Tajima TMBU-SC “Golf Bag” machine, a singlehead specifically designed to accommodate large oversized items such as golf bags, luggage and duffel bags.
“The Studio is now a state-of-the-art one-stop shop for anyone interested in getting started in the decorated apparel industry or adding new processes to their existing business,” says Duffin. “It’s also a place where anyone can come to Hirsch with a decorating challenge or idea, and the R&D department as well as industry experts on staff will assist in coming up with a profitable and viable solution.
