Why did my printer refuse to use my PowerPoint images in my 4/C brochure?

High quality printing requires that the original image contains enough digital information so that it can be imaged in 256 gray levels. The resolution of the original image will determine the number of gray levels. At least 300 dpi resolution is recommended for submitted images and 600 dpi is recommended for line art. Power Point images are converted to 72 dpi before being embedded in the Power Point file.
