• SBA Disaster Assistance: SBA offers disaster assistance in the form of low-interest loans to businesses, renters, and homeowners located in regions affected by declared disasters. Learn more and apply here.• The Worker Adjustment & Retraining Notification Act (WARN): is a federal law that requires employers to provide advanced notification to workers when faced with a plant closing or mass layoff. With this early notice, workers and their families are provided transition time to adjust to the prospective loss of employment, to seek and obtain other employment, to access assistance through a Local Workforce Development Board, and enter skills training that will allow them to successfully compete in the job market. • Federal Income Tax Filing and Payment Deadline Extension: The federal tax return filing deadline is now July 15, 2020. Several states have already aligned their tax filing and payment deadlines with the new federal deadline. States also may waive or reduce penalties on late tax payments.
• Families First Coronavirus Response Act: Learn more here.
• Employee Retention Credit: The CARES Act also includes a 50% tax credit for businesses that were impact by COVID-19 for wages of employees up to $10,000. The credit is available to all employers, regardless of their business size.
• Economic Injury Disaster Loan: The loan is available for businesses with fewer than 500 employees, as well as sole proprietorships, independent contractors and cooperatives and private nonprofits. It’s designed to provide working capital, and up to half of a prior year’s gross profit is offered. SBA has implemented automatic deferment on existing SBA disaster loans through the end of 2020. • Paycheck Protection Program: The CARES Act includes $350 billion for this loan program that is designed to encourage companies to keep folks on payroll. Loans can be used for payroll costs, rent and utilities. Businesses can borrow up to 2.5 times of those expenses for the loan period. Apply here. Learn how to calculate payroll costs here.

• Facebook Small Business Grants Program: Facebook has committed to offering up to 30,000 small businesses $100 million in cash grants and Facebook advertising credits. Learn more and apply here.• Verizon is waiving late fees for any small business or residential customers due to their economic circumstances related to COVID-19 for the next 60 days. See here.
• AT&T is waiving late fees and will not terminate the service of any wireless, home phone, or broadband residential or small business customers unable to pay their bill due to disruptions caused by COVID-19. See here.

• Shared Work Unemployment Compensation Program: allows an employer to divide the available work or hours of work among a specified group of affected employees in lieu of a layoff, and it allows the employees to receive a portion of their Unemployment Insurance benefits while working reduced hours. Arkansas
• Quick Action Loan Program: The program will be funded through an allocation of $4,000,000 from the Governor’s Quick Action Closing Fund, and an additional $3,000,000 from Attorney General Leslie Rutledge’s Consumer Education and Enforcement Fund. The Quick Action Closing Fund allocation will prioritize companies that are in the supply chain of essential goods and services. • San Francisco COVID-19 Small Business Resiliency Fund: Businesses with between one and five employees can apply for up to $10,000 in emergency funding to help cover rent and employee salaries. Apply here.• San Francisco is deferring payment of: quarterly business taxes due April 30 for businesses with up to $10 million in gross receipts. The taxes will be deferred to February 2021 with no interest or penalties. San Francisco is also deferring annual small business license and permit fee due dates that make up the Unified License Bill until June 30, 2020.
• Sacramento Small Business Economic Emergency Relief Loan: A $1 million fund for businesses to borrow up to $25,000 if they were impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. The fund is currently exhausted, however businesses should check back if additional funding becomes available. Learn more here.
• Stanislaus County Bridge Funding: The Stanislaus County Department of Workforce Development will issue $1 million in micro-grants to local businesses with up to 50 employees that have experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Apply here.
• City of Los Angeles Small Business Emergency Microloan Program: Businesses and microenterprises in Los Angeles that are responsible for providing low-income jobs can get an emergency microloan of $5,000 to $20,000. Apply here.
• City of Oakland’s Finance Department will waive late payment penalties on taxes due March 1, 2020 for small businesses impacted by COVID-19. To apply for a payment plan, call the Finance Department customer service line at (510) 238-3704 or email BTwebsupport@oaklandca.gov.
• Los Angeles Employer Assistance Grant Fund: Los Angeles County will provide local small businesses with 2 to 50 employees that have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic with grants up $10,000. Apply here.
• IBank Disaster Relief Loan Guarantee: The California IBank is offer 95% guarantees on loans worth up to $1 million to small businesses in declared disaster areas. Apply here.
Colorado
• Denver Small Business Emergency Relief: This program offers cash grants of up to $7,500 to businesses in industries particularly hard-hit by the coronavirus. See here for more information.• Denver Microloan Program: The city of Denver plans to provide microloans to impacted businesses in the city. Loans will be between $5,000 and $50,000. • Tax Extensions: Denver businesses won’t have to pay the 15% late fee if they’re unable to pay their business taxes that are due in March or April.
Connecticut
• Connecticut Bridge Loans Program: Connecticut is making one-year bridge loans up to $75,000 with 0% interest to businesses with 100 or fewer employees that have been harmed by COVID-19. Learn more and apply here.• Tax Extensions: Deadlines for filing and payments associated with certain state business tax returns due on or after March 15, 2020 are extended by at least 30 days. Delaware
• H.E.L.P. No-Interest Loans: Delaware announced no-interest loans up to $10,000 for hospitality businesses that earn less than $1.5 million a year and have been impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. Learn more and apply here.

• DC Small Business Recovery Microgrants: Washington, D.C. has created a $25 million fund for microgrants for small businesses and nonprofits within the district impacted by COVID-19. • Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program: Loans of up to $50,000 — $100,000 in certain special cases — are available to coronavirus-affected small businesses. The loans are meant to serve as short-term funding that can be repaid once businesses can access alternative funding. • Rapid Response Loan Fund: Indy Chamber's Business Ownership Initiative (BOI) is offering bridge loans worth between $1,000 and $25,000 at 3.75% interest for local businesses impacted by COVID-19. Iowa
• Iowa Business Tax Deferral: deferral of the eligible taxes and waiver of penalty and interest remains open. To be eligible, businesses must be experiencing business disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Targeted Small Business Sole Operator Fund: support Targeted Small Businesses (TSB) with zero employees that have been economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Local Economic Development Act (LEDA): LEDA is a signature program at the EDD that provides grants to help economic development-based businesses pay for land, buildings, and infrastructure to relocate or expand. EDD can make no-interest loans from LEDA to assist COVID-19 impacted businesses as well. Businesses interested in LEDA should contact their regional development representative. • NMEDD Guarantee Program: The New Mexico Economic Development Department is guaranteeing a portion of a loan or line of credit up to 80% of principal or $50,000 for small businesses seeking an emergency loan or line of credit. Apply here.
• WaFD Small Business Credit Line: Regional bank is offering a 5-year credit line with the first 90 days interest free to businesses who have experienced a 10% drop in revenue. Apply here.

New York
• New York City Employee Retention Grant Program: Small businesses with one to four employees can apply for a grant of up to $27,000 that covers 40% of payroll costs over the course of two months. Learn more and apply here.• New York City Small Business Continuity Fund: For businesses with fewer than 100 employees, you can get up to $75,000 in interest-free loans from the city to cover revenue losses. North Carolina
• One Buncombe Fund: Businesses physically and principally located in Buncombe County that have experienced at least 25% drop in revenue because of COVID-19 can access low-interest loans.
