I've heard about a reverse printer. What is it?

A reverse printer, also known as a double-sided sheetfed offset press, prints the bottom and the top of a sheet, respectively, in a single pass without turning the sheet over. Komori had the idea several decades ago and recently turned the idea into a sophisticated reality with its 29x41-in. GLX40RP offset press, a 2020 InterTech Technology Award recipient. A reverse printer handles thicker substrates better than a long perfector and saves paper since only one gripper margin is required.
